《普门品》云：“是观世音菩萨摩诃萨，于怖畏急难之中，能施无畏，是故此娑婆世界，皆号之为施无畏者。”让我们众志成城至心称诵《普门品》、持《大悲咒》，祈愿世界疫情得控，众生心安息灾障，亦祈愿患者早日康复、医护人员平安、福寿绵长。

On 28 March 2021, BW Monastery will be holding an Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Birthday Puja for World Peace & Elimination of Pandemic, to seek blessings for Singapore and the world to be free from calamities, fulfilling Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva’s spirit of compassion to benefit all beings.

It is mentioned in the Universal Gate Chapter that in times of terror, crisis, and troubles, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Mahasattva can bestow courage and dispel all fears. Therefore, all throughout the Saha world call him the Giver of Courage.

Hence, let’s unite in strength and recite with utmost sincerity the Universal Gate Chapter, and Great Compassion Mantra, and wish for the pandemic to subside swiftly, for all beings to have peace, and obscurations eliminated. And may all unwell recover swiftly, all frontline healthcare workers stay safe, healthy, and have longevity.
