农历7月15日是佛欢喜日！如果能在这一天以上好百味珍肴，新鲜果品，供养十方大德僧众，就可以令现世父母增福添寿、吉祥顺遂。对已逝父母及眷属则可令其脱离三恶道之苦，正是“上报四重恩，下济三涂苦”的最佳时机。盂兰盆法会主要提倡慎终追远的孝道精神及感恩父母、三宝的恩泽。
