阿弥陀佛大愿王, 威神光明尊第一

农历十一月十七日是阿弥陀佛圣诞。大乘经载，阿弥陀佛在过去久远劫时曾立大愿，建立西方净土，广度无边众生，成就无量庄严功德，为大乘佛教所广为崇敬和弘扬。

King of great vows, Amitabha Buddha, is the greatest Buddha of Immeasurable Light and Life.

On the 17th day of 11th lunar month, it is the birthday of Amitabha Buddha. It is stated in the Mahayana Sutra that, in many eons ago, Amitabha Buddha made great vows, and established the Pure land to help limitless sentient beings. Thus, accomplishing immeasurable great merits, leading Buddhism to be deeply respected and widely propagated.
