Listening Comes First

Knowing how to listen is foremost required at the start of practice for us, laypersons. Without learning how to listen, we wouldn’t have listened correctly from the start, then how should we contemplate and practice? When we do not bear in mind the importance of the stages of practice, and lack understanding on this path to liberation, then the cultivation would be flawed!
