After enjoying your reunion dinner on the eve of CNY, please come to BW Monastery to bid farewell to the year of Dog and welcome the year of the Pig. It’s both auspicious and joyful!
Between 8.30pm and 10.30 pm, there will be a CNY Eve Puja. The Sangha will lead the public to recite the 88 Buddhas Repentance and chant "The Great Praise of Maitreya “, make an aspiration to meet Maitreya Bodhisattva at the "Nagapuspa Triple Assembly (龙华三会)", and bid farewell to the old year with all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
Guests are welcome to write their wishes on the wishing cards, either by making aspirations or expressing gratitude to your loved ones, parents, our nation, Triple Gem, as well as dance with the auspicious Dragon, wishing for world peace and harmony for our nation and families.
At 11.30 pm, let’s come together and sing a variety of Chinese New Year’s songs. Abbot Jing Yuan, together with the Sangha, will lead everyone to chant the Bell Verse (叩钟偈) to usher in the New Year, celebrating the new year with all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and welcoming the God of Fortune.
Last but not least, the Sangha will distribute a good luck charm together with mandarin oranges for auspiciousness and good fortune for the New Year.

2019年新春除夕普佛法会
除夕夜吃完团圆饭，就来吉祥宝聚寺——迎猪送狗，吉祥又幸福！
晚上8.30及10.30各有一场辞岁法会，吉祥寺僧团将带领大众念诵八十八佛，洗涤过去一年不圆满之事；唱诵《弥勒大赞》，发愿值遇弥勒菩萨于“龙华三会”，并向佛菩萨辞岁。
嘉宾们可以写祈愿卡，发愿或感恩国家、父母、三宝等，以及一起舞动祥龙，祝愿世界和平、国泰民安、合家幸福平安。
晚上11.30，有“大众欢唱新年歌”。 祈福迎新之际，吉祥寺住持净远和尚将领唱《叩钟偈》，并领众发大愿。僧俗二众一起叩钟跨年，点头香向佛菩萨拜大年和迎接财神爷的降临。
吉祥寺僧团也会发送大吉大利的柑桔和压岁钱，让与会大众满载法喜过新年！
