Care Department Funeral Care and Support @ East District 关怀处 东区殡丧关怀记
Madam Chen Yuxiang, a former classmate of the Evergreen Class at BW Monastery, passed away in Malaysia on June 10.
Her daughter, Lim Peck Kiau from Class S18S009C03 who resides in the Eastern District, invited the Care Department to support in the prayers, with the wish that her mother would be blessed with a rebirth of a human life of leisure and opportunity to learn the complete teachings of Master Tsong-kha-pa.
At 10pm sharp, the chanting of prayers started with more than 40 students accompanied by their family members.
The person-in-charge of the Care Department @ East District sent condolences from time to time, specifically reminding the family members to take good care of their health during this period of the virus outbreak, as well as to convey the arrangements to continue praying for the deceased.
Much gratitude to the class facilitator Bi Jun, for giving the Care Department an opportunity to carry out virtuous deeds, where an online chanting group was set up through the use of the internet so as to benefit more beings.

曾经是吉祥寺长青班同学陈玉香老人家，于6月10日在马国往生。
住在东区的女儿林碧娇师姐 （18善009C03），希望妈妈得到师长摄受，获得暇满人身，学习宗大师清净圆满教法，故在关怀处东区负责人带领东区干部，连同碧娇研讨班碧君班长及班级成员，40多位在晚间10点准一起在线上为老人家诵经，以佛号陪伴最后一程。
特别叮嘱家属们在疫情时期，一定要照顾好身体。而且表示可以尽量安排继续为往生者诵经祈祷。
感恩碧君班长及同学们，给予关怀处以网络的方式，进行线上诵经饶益更多有情。也祝陈老人家跟随佛菩萨的指引，一路走好。
碧娇师姐分享：
非常感恩五大关怀（东部）的负责人，所有的干部，关怀团与同学们。透由线上诵经，我和家人都感到内心很平静。我们很赞叹诵经组织，你们太棒了，在我们无助的时候，这是一个很大的欣慰。
当我的妹妹听到老师的声音时，无比赞叹老师的声音太美妙了！
我的小儿子也很惊喜竟然有这么棒的团体！无比的感激！感恩师父，老师、净远和尚的慈悲与吉祥寺团体！
智音师姐分享:
我的同学因为居住在新国，从小抚养的妈妈却在马国往生，觉得自己没有尽最后一份的孝心，深感遗憾悲阙。
但女儿还是想为妈妈尽一份做儿女的责任。
连续2晚，关怀处临时召集约40多位同学透由连线的方式（zoom ）诵经回向给同学的母亲。
如果这位同学没有参加团体，或是没有这样的方便，虽然有一群师法友，也很难看到这样的局面。
从这事项上来策发自己学习观功念恩，如果某一天，无常发生在我身上，我也会很欣慰安心。
有这一群人愿意支援他人，不是因为自己有多少的功德，而是借着师长的光环，才有机会温暖他人的生命。
