Seeking Volunteers
Have some extra time to spare or simply looking for ways to give back to society? Act now! (plus, you can work in the comfort of your own home, without the need to meet)
1. Volunteers to help with Website Updates!
We are looking for individuals who can help us update content to our website. If you have 2-3 hours to spare each week, and adept with using the computer, we need you to help post up content to the website using our Content Management System (CMS). We will be glad to provide training on the process and you can literally assist with the tasks anytime, anywhere! (as long as you have Internet connection and a computer with you!)
2. Translators Needed!
We are looking for individuals who are interested to volunteer your services as translators for our organization. If you have good language abilities (in English and Chinese) and is able to do translation work for articles, join our team of volunteer translators.
All translation work will be sent and communicated to you via email. We will require you to complete the work and revert within 3 to 5 days. There is no physical commitment of your services required on your part. To understand more, read our FAQ section.

FAQ
Q: What kind of article requires translation?
A: It ranges from members’ stories, to event reportings. Articles are usually written for the layman and do not include Buddhist technical terms.
Q: Where will these articles be published?
A: Bulk of these articles will be published on our website, and some of them will also be published in our print newsletters.
Q: How long are these articles?
A: Articles range from 200~500 words typically.
Q: Once I am assigned an article, how much time do I have to do the translation?
A: We will need you to commit a turnaround time of 3~5 days per article if you are taking up this job.
Q: I will like to help. But I am not sure if my translation ability is up to the mark.
A: We will assign you with a short passage to translate once you signed up, and we will then qualify you from there.
