Expanding Our Aspiration 1
In the beginning of our practice, such as helping others, we would take to heart very much the success or failure of the matter. When we put in our full efforts on helping others, we tend to neglect increasing the strength of our aspirations, forsaking our ‘mind’, when caught in the whirlwind of the matter. We are happy if the matter has a pleasant outcome and upset if the matter is not favourable. We may even arise the thoughts of forsaking sentient beings, breaking our Bodhisattva precepts, this is utterly dangerous!
