Though the paths are shared, but there are some differences between the Mahayana and Hinayana Vehicles. There are many precepts in the Mahayana that is not found in the Hinayana Vehicle, not only not found, yet quite the opposite, which is what the Hinayana should adopt, and the Mahayana should cast aside. Vice versa, what the Mahayana should adopt and what the Hinayana should cast aside.
