A venerable’s reminder: ‘Your reliance (on teacher) is inadequate”.
A reminder of my great fault in one statement! To speak of reliance, we need to first obtain clear understanding of the four truths, knowledge of worldly suffering, emptiness, impermanence, four elements, falsity of the five aggregates and the causes of sins and merits.
With one-pointed refuge in the Triple Gem, like one on a death row seeking for mercy, one shall not be led around by worldly desires nor specious delusions.
