HOW TO OVERCOME AFFLICTIONS?

Be aware, then try to put a stop to them. If they cannot be stopped, then do your best to be aware of them as soon as possible. If they are totally unstoppable, then at least put a stop to a small portion or let the afflictions become weaker. These are all improvements.
