业果 : 增上果

"主上果或增上果"，这个"主"就是主要的，主要的上面它还有"增上"。这个意思就是平常我们就唯识上面举一个比喻啊，它说就好像农夫，你种了谷子以后，到了收割一样，收割一样。换句话说，你做了什么事情以后，你一定跟你相关的，它有回报。所以我们在这世间做了很多事情以后，这个正报是前面的异熟、等流。然后呢，外面这其他的回报，这个就是我们的，叫作士用果或者增上果。士用的话，士，就是你作者，用，就是你所受用的那些，那个主要的就是指外面的器世间，我们的依报。

【The Varieties of Karma】- Environmental effect  

 “The effect on top of the primary (主上果) or the environmental effect (增上果)”. This “primary” means what is primary. On top of what's primary, there is also the "environmental" effect. This means that...usually in the True Aspectarian School, there is an analogy for this. It is much like a farmer, after you've sown the seeds for grains, there will come a time for harvest, like [the time for] harvest. In other words, with whatever that you have done, certainly with what relates to you, there will be payback. Therefore, after having carried out many actions in this world, the payback comprises of the fruitional effect spoken earlier and the causally concordant effect. Then externally there are other paybacks which is called the resultant person's resource effect or the environmental effect. Regarding the resultant person's resource, the "resultant person" is the person who committed the actions [in the past], the "resource" is the resource you will use. This mainly refers to the external environment, which is our dependent payback [i.e, external things that we depend on].
