所以我们现在往往说：「喔唷！他伤害我，所以我们要报复他。」世间的人是对的，你现在修学佛法的人要这样的话，你不晓得错到哪里去了。也许你说啊，我这是小乘，小乘的你拼命忙你自己，解决你的问题都来不及，你管他干什么？这不是很简单吗？所以不管入小乘、入大乘，绝对没有你要给他讲道理的地方，那何况是发嗔心啊！这个是我们应该了解的。

【Karma】- I want to seek revenge

Therefore, presently, we would often say, “Oh! He has harmed me, so we must seek revenge.” This is what mundane world people would do. If you who learn the Buddha’s teachings act in this way, you have no idea how wrong you are. Perhaps you might say, “I am a Hinayana practitioner.” As a Hinayana practitioner, you only have time to practice for yourself. You won’t even have enough time to resolve your own issues, why would you worry about others’ business? Isn’t this simple? Therefore, whether you are in the Hinayana or the Mahayana, there is absolutely no room for you to argue with him based on principles, needless to mention for you to go as far as developing hostility! This is what we should understand.
