Knowledge sets the right attitude - 35 Buddha Repentance Practice @BW Monastery Geylang Centre
Before the commencement of the 35 Buddhas Confession Practice, Venerable Zu Guang introduced the background of this practice, on how it came about and the purposes the practice serves. This was followed by an explanation of the meaning of verses in the practice, how we should set our motivation, what to visualize, and how to place our palms during the process, including the meaning of the mudra (hand gestures).
Having this knowledge really helps us to better understand the significance behind the practice and reinforces the right attitude when we are practising this repentence practice.
